How should we teach medicine? Medical education (MedEd) is a consistently innovative field, addressing overarching educational topics like medical student/resident wellness, classroom setting, and curriculum building. Though the field of MedEd is dominated by practicing physicians and faculty, we at the in-Training Classroom hope to engage current medical students in the broader discussion as well. We hope to increase the representation of the younger generation of health care professionals in this field by providing a forum for the latest research and news in MedEd. After reading this literature, we encourage students to obtain critical eyes for current practices, revolutionize/modernize these practices, and get involved in future endeavors as MedEd professionals.
