As awareness and acknowledgement of health disparities grows, so too does a need for health professionals to have a sophisticated understanding of the systemic factors which provide (and fail to provide) equitable care. Medical students are playing a key role in reshaping medical education—and therefore, we hope, medicine itself—by organizing together on campus, changing discourse, and holding our institutions accountable. With the Social Justice Classroom, we seek to complement and encourage these efforts. In this section, you will find an introductory index of high-quality educational resources as well as a forum for forward-thinking dialogue about social justice and medicine.
